Video Competition for Food/Biotech/PhD Students

Are you a student in the Bachelor program Food Science and Biotechnology, one of the Master programs Food Science and Technology, Food Biotechnology, Food Systems, or a PhD candidate at our institute?

Make a 1-minute video of your Bachelor's/Master's/PhD thesis/Project work and get a prize! 

Prizes:

• Bachelor and Master students: get a 100€ voucher for a creative video. If we receive enough videos, we plan an additional video voting contest on Instagram, with the chance to win even more.
• PhD candidates: have the opportunity to win a prize twice a year (March and September)

Here are the rules:

1. Content

• Create a video about the topic of your Bachelor/Master/PhD thesis, or Humboldt reloaded / Master project. 
• Be informative, funny, weird, innovative – make it interesting!
• For students: Work together with your supervisor! Discuss the content and approach of the video. Your supervisor must approve the video before submission!

2. Submission

• Ensure your video does not violate any copyright, as it will be made public.
• Please upload your video using this Link: https://nextcloud.foodinformatics.uni-hohenheim.de/apps/forms/s/kAMnFCpcbAScyTZMcpjYCsWF
• By submitting, you declare that your supervisor has confirmed the video and that you agree to its publication on social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram).
• There are no fixed deadlines. Submit whenever your video is ready!

3. Usage

• Videos will be shared on social media and used to advertise the programs at our institute.
• Selected videos will also be shown during the Bachelor's and Master's ceremonies in July.
• If enough videos are submitted, we plan an Instagram voting contest with the chance to win additional prizes.
