Daniel Einsiedel works as a research assistant and PhD student at the Department of Food Informatics. As part of his project, which is funded by a Dutch machine manufacturer, he is working on data-driven analysis of a production process in order to identify fluctuations in the quality of the product and find their cause. Image recognition, time series and correlation analysis play a role in identifying correlations.
