Successful Participation in 5th IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing and Self-Organizing Systems (ACSOS)  [25.09.24]

Pia Schweizer and Elia Henrichs represented the Department of Food Informatics at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing and Self-Organizing Systems (ACSOS 2024) in Aarhus, Denmark. The department also received an award.

Pia Schweizer presented her work “Towards a Hybrid Architecture for Self-Adaptive and Self-Organizing Systems” at the 11th Workshop on Self-Improving Systems Integration (SISSY), which took place as part of ACSOS. The publication, which was co-authored by Jonas Lange (Kiel University), Elia Henrichs (Department of Food Informatics, University of Hohenheim), Sven Tomforde (Kiel University), and Christian Krupitzer (Department of Food Informatics, University of Hohenheim), describes a hybrid approach for self-adaptive and self-organizing systems on the example of platooning.
Pia also presented her work “Many-Objective Centralized Adaptation Planning: Towards Hybrid Self-Adaptive and Self-Organizing Systems” at ACSOS.

Elia Henrichs presented the poster paper “Towards a Self-Adaptive, Real-time Monitoring System for Food Quality Assessment” with co-author Christian Krupitzer (Department of Food Informatics, University of Hohenheim). The poster contribution by Elia Henrichs and Christian Krupitzer was honored with the Best Poster Award!
