Current project

My current research focuses on the application of hyperspectral imaging combined with artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for the rapid, non-destructive assessment of food products. The study aims to develop predictive models for the estimation of compounds using spectral data.

Research Interest

Food processing and preservation, food quality and safety, non-destructive sensing technologies, hyperspectral and multispectral imaging, chemometrics, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in food systems, food composition analysis, functional foods, pulse and legume processing, food informatics, and sustainable food production.
