Position as Student Assistant for "Designing a self-study course about data analytics with ChatGPT" [19.10.23]
The Department of Food Informatics received funding as part of the DeLLFi project for developing a self-study course about applying ChatGPT for data analytics for scientific works.
Task Description
Your task would be to design a self-study course in ILIAS, which covers the application of ChatGPT for data analytics within scientific works, e.g., Bachelor or Master theses. This means you are responsible for identifying a suitable dataset for analyzing and performing the analysis with ChatGPT. You will use the freely available version of ChatGPT and compare it with different plugins for data analytics of the premium version. The experiences and steps shall be codified into lecture material, which can be offered as an ILIAS module.
The Department of Food Informatics team will support you in the different steps. Further, you will have access to the department’s infrastructure, especially a ChatGPT premium account. You will be hired for 300 working hours in total, the number of working hours per month can be discussed.
Required Profile
We expect that applicants have first experiences with ChatGPT or similar tools for Generative AI. Additionally, fundamental knowledge of statistics is required. Programming skills in Python or R would be helpful but are not required.
