Master thesis in AI with Max-Rubner-Institut [25.06.25]
In cooperation with the Max Rubner Institute we offer a master thesis on the topic: Use of a Large Language Model for automated answering of a quality assessment questionnaire for nutrient data from the scientific literatureIn cooperation with the Institute for Nutritional Behavior at the Karlsruhe site of the Max Rubner Institute (MRI), an automated process using a Large Language Model (LLM) is to be developed as part of a final thesis / master's thesis.
The Quality Index (QI) Sheet was developed as part of the European Food Information Resource (EuroFIR) to assess the quality of scientific publications for nutritional value databases. It takes into account various assessment criteria and is currently also used in a modified form for data on nitrogen-to-protein conversion factors (NCF). As manual application of the QI sheet is time-consuming, the project aims to develop an automated process using an LLM in order to make quality assessment more efficient. The focus is on the optimization of questions and the technical implementation.
