Wanted: Tutors for support of teaching  [27.01.22]

For the courses "Grundlagen der Informatik" and "Statistik für Lebensmittelwissenschaften und Biotechnologie" in the summer term 2022, the Department of Food Informatics hires one or two tutors (volume 42 hours per month), respectively.

The job involves offering weekly teaching groups to answer questions and provide guidance on practice sheets. Employment will be from March 16, 2022 to July 15, 2022 (period can be adjusted after consultation) for 42 hours/month. Extended scope in combination with activities to support our research is possible.

Tutors for the module "Grundlagen der Informatik"

We are hiring one tutor for the course„Grundlagen der Informatik“ of the Department of Food Informatics (150L) in the summer term 2022. Basic knowledge in programming with Python is expected, e.g., through participation in one of the courses of our Department (1511-201 "Grundlagen der Informatik", 1511-400 "Computational Thinking" oder 4407-481 "Introduction to Machine Learning in Python").

Tutors for the module "Statistik für Lebensmittelwissenschaften und Biotechnologie"

We are hiring two tutors for the course„Statistik für die Lebensmittelwissenschaften und Biotechnologie“ of the Department of Food Informatics (150L) in the summer term 2022. Basic knowledge in statistics, among others probabilites, descriptive statistics, distributions, regression, confidence intervals and hypothesis tests, is expected, e.g., through participation in the course 1511-021 "Statistik für Lebensmittelwissenschaften und Biotechnologie" at our Department.

Please note: Both courses are taught in German, therefore, you should be able to speak German fluently.
