Christian Krupitzer Successfully Completes Tenure Track [23.07.26]
We are delighted to share that Christian Krupitzer has successfully completed his tenure-track process. Following his evaluation presentation on November 10, 2025, he was sworn in as a full professor (W3) on July 1, 2026.
After completing his PhD in 2018 at the Chair for Information Systems II (Prof. Christian Becker), University of Mannheim, Christian led the Research Group "IoT and Cyber-Physical Systems" at the Chair of Computer Science 2 (Prof. Samuel Kounev), University of Würzburg. Since October 2020, he has been heading the Department of Food Informatics at the University of Hohenheim, where he began as a tenure-track professor.
In February 2026, Christian also completed his habilitation in Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Würzburg, on the topic "Next Generation Self-Adaptive Software Systems."
