The Food Informatics Research Group at the Conference “Towards New Food Systems – Ernährungs- und Lebensmittelsysteme neu gedacht”  [30.10.25]

Christian Krupitzer presented the research contributions of the Food Informatics group in the field of Digital Food Twins at the conference “Towards New Food Systems – Ernährungs- und Lebensmittelsysteme neu gedacht.”

The scientific conference „Towards New Food Systems – Ernährungs- und Lebensmittelsysteme neu gedacht“ (“Towards New Food Systems – Rethinking Nutrition and Food Systems”) took place from October 28–30, 2025, in Berlin. The event brought together researchers and stakeholders from various scientific disciplines, industry, and politics to engage in dialogue about the future of our nutrition and food systems. Through keynote lectures, scientific presentations, and a poster session, interdisciplinary approaches for the necessary transformation of food and nutrition systems were presented and discussed.

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Christian Krupitzer presented the Food Informatics group’s research on Digital Food Twins during the poster session as well as in an invited talk, highlighting the future challenges and potential contributions of digital food twins to reshaping the nutrition and food systems of tomorrow.
